You'll have enough for our next decent player from the academy soon.

Maybe it’s best to assume that Roland is in no hurry to sell at the moment. The team is doing well on a shoestring budget, tv money is coming in, and through the efforts of LB his staff, and the players, we are not far off a playoff place.
You would think if he wanted to sell, this would be s good time, with our position in the league being the best it’s been for years ....... since he took over in fact. The fact that all interested parties keep walking away, suggests that this is not an owner desperate to sell anytime soon.

According to James Seed, take it as you will, the Aussies have pulled out for good! Let's all hope that this is true. We have seriously dodged a bullet if this lot have finally gone away. 2 and half years from start to finish. If they were interested in purchasing a football club they should have looked elsewhere after the scarf showing at the Shrewsbury game 17 months ago. Also means no unwanted egos represening the fans on the board which is always a good thing.

With the magic of the last 18 months should imagine RD is thinking we might get to PL without spending a vast amount. We would be happy and he would be vindicated. Anything is possible, I feel these days. It's actually all quite exciting. Personally, not massively bothered about a sale right now - some settled quiet is quite refreshing.

The trouble is though nobody understands the mind of RD and what he really wants to do - although Quite clearly he can not be that desperate to sell. However the problem is one of a having a plan for the future.By hook or by crook he has stumbled across the best Charlton manager in a generation. Now is the time t give him a decent contract closely followed by Lyle Taylor. These indeed are exciting times and long may they continue. But who knows what RD is really thinking!COYR

So while, I never agree anyone is greater than the club, I do feel Roland owes them one. We all need a hero, dont we?....

We've had over two years of almost continuous improvement starting from when Dasilva became first choice left back and various players were dropped by KR back in March 2017. We could easily see another 12 months of improvements but that depends upon a decent January window as well as progress next summer. It's clear RD wants to sell and he has sold other clubs. He knows the price he's looking for. Some of us have been consistent in asking him to back the management because that's obviously good for the club, and good in terms of attracting new interest.

They can plan to be where they like Bexleyboy but it be same old story like last 3 years or so with them.We are in the best position as a team and a club and supporter wise as we have been in a long time.We have a transfer window coming up in January and important players /managers contracts coming to an end soon.We need new owners that are willing to take us forward on a new journey it won't happen with these cling on Aussies.

Maybe the Aussies just wanted a season ticket to come watch the team at the Valley?
