It’s all gone very quiet at the moment.
Hopefully calm before the storm.

Why have a pop at BB every time -- all the time -- the Guy is only answering a question or giving an opinion!

I don't want the Australian consortium anywhere near our club. I would rather have the existing ownership until such time as an individual or group come in & 'WANT' to buy the club.

I tend too agree with you. The Australian consortium had their chance, but are still trying to keep their toe in the doorway. Let's hope someone with a knowledge of English football and the money to buy some needed players step forward.

"LDT said as part of any deal you need willingness, money and trust. He said a person visited The Valley a few weeks ago, signed an NDA on a Tuesday and then something went on Twitter on the Wednesday meaning the trust had gone, he said nothing is being progressed with that party. He explained trust and transparency are very important in any deal, especially as you need to share sensitive information."
Dodged that bullet at least.

Sounds like there is as much chance of the Aussies taking us over as there is Skippy making a come back.
In my opinion that's another bullet dodged, they have no money or idea.

The Australians just seem desperate to get others associated with them, so many groups involved in running the club could end up a complete disaster .. too many cooks

To be honest, I'm now in the camp where I hope the Aussies don't take us over. Their bid just seems to be a complete and utter mishmash and that would not bode well for the future of our club.
The 3rd bid (European) on LDT's list, does sound a little more promising with due diligence going on at present.

You have said that every single day. You said two new groups, there's five in total. You should write books! The Aussies might have submitted their paperwork next year.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to work that out - fans forum which will lead the club updating us and the club has mentioned other groups in the past fans forum meetings. You’re just trying act like you know all when you haven’t got a clue like the rest of us. You’re making yourself act like a total fool.

Not sure if this is relevant/related to CAFC, but I have it on good authority that the new Japanese owners of STVV have been exploring RD's network approach. If that was with the same - or other clubs in mind, no clue. There has been at least 1 meeting with a sports consultancy agency about this topic. I have no information about the outcome of that meeting, just that it took place.

More BS all round from the Club.
5 interested parties - yeah I am interested too just not at the ridiculous price he wants.
So far we have dodged a bullet from the ever expanding Aussie consortium and there 2,000 partners. And dodged another from the Kuwaiti fridge magnet who can’t keep his mouth(Twitter) shut.
Next up will No doubt be the Insane clown posse.

If only all the fans could come together as one and get us back to the 15,000 crowds , support the team , help get the results to climb the league and then maybe we could attract the one , ambitious , generous owner that would at least make us a stable Championship club , with chances each year of the promised Premiership land...
At the moment the fan base is as divided as the potential owners allegedly that are trying to buy our great club.... 🤔

Bit like reading a book at the end and trying to guess what the plot was in the middle!

I am sick and tired of this non Takeover by the Aussies. Either piss or get off the potty. Imminent, done deal, happenning next week. Blah, blah. They haven't got the money and that is a fact. Everitt, Seed etc have got a lot to answer for. Raising Charlton fans hopes. We are nowhere near being taken over.

Bit like reading a book at the end and trying to guess what the plot was in the middle! No, the division is down to those who wish to make us believe that thousands protesting during our relegation season have been converted into a unified movement with a purpose. And that somehow it's both possible and desirable for fans (in reality their "leaders") to take a role in defining the strategic direction whilst simultaneously running a campaign that slates every move management makes on social media. It's a mix of populism and fake news which somehow seeks to convince fans that they have the power to influence events. And from there we see phrases such as "done deal" and "fire sale". One solution is for the team to do well and the oppositionalist trend to die down followed by four thousand fans returning, perhaps 500 at a time. The club hit a low two years back and we now have the very real challenge of trying to climb above sixth place in the league. Ideally that unites fans in backing Bow and the lads - time will tell.

Personally I think that some of the stuff about our fanbase being terribly divided is exaggerated and keeps coming from a few people who have personal grudges about a small number of admittedly vocal personalities like Rick Everett and Ben Hayes who post on Charlton Life. Continually going on about division only increases the feeling that there really is a huge kind of 50/50 divide that can never be healed. Let's face it, this site consisted at one time of a largely pro-Duchatelet group of posters who sneered at any others who demurred as 'vinegar pissers' but who have now come round to the present position of wanting him gone.
