One can say more later but three significant numbers: Only 5% calling for a change of manager - compare that to other places where it is open season of Karl Robinson and this site is where I would prefer to be Secondly, the percentage calling for RD to sell is identical to February 2016 - no more no less. And that is when we have gone many games without a win. As stated above, let's see where that falls over the summer once we have gotten through this season. We have three home games over the next ten days - all to play for. And the third number? This time last year a poll would have secured 30 votes within the first day and yet this one is on 60 votes. I don't know the exact stats for this site but the pro club agenda in the midst of all of the panic appears to be attracting more and more fans. This site has engaged with the club in the middle of this terrible run showing that we support the club come rain or shine. There are different views but we all want success... and perhaps we want to learn a little bit more about the challenge of running our great club? For all the engagement 71% want him to sell and only 1 out of 58 wants things to stay the same Let's get this right we would all want him to sell and we find the CAFC equivalent of the Huddersfield owner who is a local man with a pile of dosh who has a great instinct as to what is required to create a successful club both on and off the pitch. But then again I am terrified that RD will sell to a new potential owner such as the bozo who bought LUFC or the O's. I'm also nervous of Red Bull who will change our name and potentially move us down to Ebbsfleet or wherever. Owner out and new owner, who we approve, in is a delightful thought but there's as much chance of that happening as Elfsborg being the Queen of Sheba - but then again.........

If Roland is not willing to loose 12-£14 million a season to put together a competitive football team then sell to some one he can.

He will never get his money back. It's just a case of what losses he's prepared to take. Year on year the club under him is worth less. Next year in division two (God forbid) it will be practically worthless.
SELL, SELL, SELL

In an ideal world Somerton, I suppose we would all love that, but have a read of Johnkools post above. At the moment, he at least gives us financial stability and we could be a lot worse off with a change of owner as John so rightly states. Our recent poor form has played right into the hands of the protests, had we still been pushing for the playoffs, the vitriol that we saw on Saturday would not have happened. At the end of the day it's all about results! Still, I'm sure there is a long queue of potential buyers waiting for the chance to lose £5 - 8 million a year on a team in the lower leagues!

And that redoctober is the challenge for RD which I'm sure the CEO and manager understand: CAFC might be worth £50M in the Championship. Perhaps more given the quality of the stadium and academy. (All paid for!) Therefore RD needs to invest in the football management and squad to enhance the value of his investment. Or sell up at a discount. But to continue without the appropriate strategy and execution will not end well.

If Roland is not willing to loose 12-£14 million a season to put together a competitive football team then sell to some one he can. Where does that £12-14M loss go? And does it guarantee a top six finish in this league or the Championship? Sheffield Wednesday have just released their numbers for last season. Losses of £10M due to a big increase in player amortisation and wages. And these would have been upto £6M worse if they hadn't been successful. Why £6M? That is the increase in revenue due to bigger gates and TV revenue including the play-off final. The Championship competition has been designed this way and some clubs will go bust in the near future. For every Brighton and Wednesday, there is a Blackburn and Bolton. Probably a lot more. In a month or two we will see the combined Championship losses - they will exceed £200M and will probably be the highest yet!

The frustration is that RD more or less insulates us against losses as he is the only real creditor other than RM and the old shareholders and therefore we are in far better shape than most. but the execution of strategy just has to improve albeit the mish mash of disparate players acquired by 8 different managers have to be offloaded en masse.

The whole thing is mad KM talks about us being financially stable and breaking even, until something happens on the protest front then the real financial status is unveiled. The problem is that the owner and his minions are only now looking to engage with the supporters, when most view it as too late, because without supporters buying into what you are doing no club would be financially viable.
With the same budge, minus that being paid out for the extra coaches and pr gurus, but with a normal level of attendance the current level of losses would be greatly reduced.

The current problem is that RD is attempting to limit the amount he spends on the squad, by brining in players in on the cheap, trying to rely on academy players. But then he sells them on and does not build a team that will be stable and competitive over a number of seasons, so all this trying to curb spending is leading to relegation after relegation as we do not have teams that are good enough. I will guess that he would be content with conference football as he seems not to worry about what division /class of football any of his teams play in.

That's exactly the problem somerton which is why I told the room at the meeting that he has to either focus on us, one club and invest some passion or sell.
It's no good having a shared pot between his clubs when none of them can possibly ever achieve anything because of the limitations of what it is.

I am glad you pointed this out, but I fear it will not register with him. He seems disinterested in team results and only interested in the making of money from developing young player s. If I am correct then it does not matter to him which division any of his teams are in. If he could he would build just one academy site, probably in Belgium and then pass players on from this to his respective clubs as he sees fit.
