We are keen to sign Chelsea teenager Islam Feruz on loan, according to the Daily Mirror.
The Scotland Under-21 striker, 19, is currently on loan at OFI Crete but several Championship clubs are reported to be interested.
Bolton, Birmingham, Bournemouth and Cardiff are all said to be monitoring the situation.

A Wigan website is saying that Malky Mackay will reduce the size of his squad in January as he attempts to raise funds through transfers and reduce the wage bill by shipping higher earners out on loan which may include Andy Delort who has been linked with a loan move to Charlton.
They claim that Uwe Rosler made a serious error in signing the exciting Frenchman then playing him as a lone centre forward given that his success last year at Tours came about by playing him as a twin striker.
They conclude that if Delort does go on loan to Charlton it will be interesting to see how the player responds to more game time in the Championship and how they would benefit if he went back to Wigan a better player.

If he does come on loan, surely it must be with the option to buy. Why should we take him and perhaps get him going again and then send him back a better player. I can't see RD agreeing to that.

Peeters is making the best of a bad situation with that interview and hasn't done a very good job of it to be honest......
"If he must come here I think I can work with him" !!!!
Perhaps being back in Britain might help the lad, for his sake it needs to make it work but I'm glad to see that Bob agrees with me regarding his time at Standard because what he is really saying is that Watt was not good enough which begs the question if he's too weak for the Jupiler League then what chance does he have in the Championship.

We need four or five good players in as soon as the window is open, never mind the usual bullshit of waiting until deadline day, the squad is not good enough and needs some decent players added to it straight away. All I ask for is players who will improve us, I am sick of the hard to beat label because of the contentment to draw games it has brought. I want to see players from our shores being signed up, Grigg and Ali at MK Dons for example and Knockeart at Leicester, then maybe bring Coquelin back from Arsenal on loan along with the striker they are willing to loan out. What I don't want to see is more recycled rubbish playing in the Belgian reserve League being signed up or the crap that Standard Liege have to offer.

Welcome to the forum tomtom is good to have people posting on our forum from all over the UK and overseas.
In relation to your post, I am not doubting your relationship with him but I am just interested to know what you are basing your confidence in him on because he hasn't really been a prolific striker thus far and in the many games I have seen him play for Standard Liege, he has looked, poor, lightweight, lazy and disinterested?
I don't know him personally as you do but I do regard myself as being a very good judge of a footballer, I have the CV to prove it, and thus far Tony Watt has done very little to impress me.
In saying that if ever I want a player to prove me wrong it's him because he would shut a lot of people up including myself. We need a striker and if he can do the business I'm all for it.

Thank you for your comments mate tony watt done well at celtic as you know it is hard to break through as a young forward at celtic he was constantly brought on as a sub and played out on the wing celtic 2years on still switching between 4strikers and playing them out of position he went to lierse and scored goals and played really well had a well documented fall out with manager Menzies who has since been sacked then liege manager sacked before he could settle as for bad boy image total nonsence u won't see him in news other than football matters this guy can play football trust me Lennon trusted him enough to put him on last 15 minutes against Barcelona believe me if he gets a good run he WILL be what u need for your play off push regards tomtom
