Peter Clarke of Huddersfield has always impressed against us.

Dervite to Bournemouth. Not a rumour, just a guess. To follow his mate Yann, plus Bournemouth were interested last summer.

Didn't Peter Clarke chose Huddersfield ahead of us in Powells first summer in charge. Was decent but assume not now if they are letting him go.

It's not the accumulated debt but the debt in the season and the (any) interest charge on loans will be part of the P&L.
I think the debt has been a soft debt involving little or no interest charge. The question is whether the soft debt is turned to equity or not???

How are Bolton not in admin.!? they have over 100m in debt Because over 90% of the debt is owed to the owner, all the while he can cover the debt, Bolton will not go into administration. His problem is that he is continuing to cover the losses. Rather akin to using your credit card to pay off the balance on your credit card. In time it becomes unsustainable.

The FA regards it as 'soft debt' and therefore beyond their jurisdiction.

Don't think I could handle the stress of waiting for his next major mistake.

Don't think I could handle the stress of waiting for his next major mistake. The wait would be so short you would not have to worry.

The only clubs we should be looking for released players from are Prem. Reserves and teams in the top 10 of the champ.

Can we start an "Anyone But Llera" petition Did you see the twitter picture someone put on CL? It had some of the most bastardized English that i've ever seen. It was a goodbye to massives fans and started out by saying something like: "thanks to whom didn't appreciated my football and from the deep of my heart thanks to whom was every single time support me, shouting my name, applaud me." Given how long he's been in the UK that's really poor.

Looks like there'll be a turnover in the coaching staff aswell if we're not planning to keep him on. Good luck to Hughesy!

Although that could be true, Andy has left as he wants to play on for another season, and he has had barely any game time this year. Not the sort I could see Roland wanting to sign up anyway due to age and ability, despite his undoubted benefit behind the scenes. Would love to see him back one day, in a coaching position if that is what he wants to do. I know he has done a bit of media lately so maybe he may go down that path although they are not mutually exclusive.

Could we afford Nick Powell? If Wigan don't go up... I reckon he will be loaned out to a prem club next season, but he is the sort of player we should be looking to bring in on loan, not Marcus Tudgay and Jon obika ( I think him scoring two late goals in his first loan gave the impression he was a good player, his loan spells this season at us and brighton suggest otherwise)

Could we afford Nick Powell? If Wigan don't go up... He brings nothing to us that we don't already have though. Sordell scored the same number of league goals as Powell, and that's saying something as Sordell was dire most of the season. True, he did well in Europe for Wigan, but we aren't in Europe and most European sides are lower quality than the Championship.

So...I was jokingg with my first Steve Sidwell post? But we ought to sign him on a two year deal
Doubt we will, as his wages will be a stumbling block, but would be a quality signing. Fulham are relegated anyway so there would be no difference in league.

Presumably the Premier League released list won't be until after the end of their season and that may set the ball rolling

Patrick Bamford on loan would be a fantastic signing if we can get him. I hear Chelsea want Poyet so if they are serious we should insist on him being loaned back to us for the whole of next season with Bamford thrown in.

Dad played there, Diego used to play on their training ground with other footballers kids.
