Seems like there is quite a lengthy outgoing player list at SE7 with Powell's side being spectacularly broken up.
Let's have all the summer transfer news in here whether it be gossip done deals or players from other clubs who have been released and may be of an interest to us.

Well Quality confirmed to Ketts that he is optimistic that he will be fit and ready to play come the first game of 14/15 season.
Now in my book that is top Quality start to this thread!

I'll start with the rumor from here that Liege striker Imoh Ezekiel was at the Watford game. Can't see a reason that he would have been here unless a potential move was in the works.

Now that's a cheeky little rumour to get us started with this summer!

You want a cheeky rumor?
"Charlton Athletic are set to splash the cash with a move for Fulham midfielder Steve Sidwell. Sidwell, who has been linked with a move to The Valley every summer for the past eight years, is keen to reunite with former Reading Wonderkid, Simon Church. The reported transfer fee will be £700,000, slightly less than what The Addicks paid for star striker Piotr Parzyszek in January."

the foundations for next season should be:
Solly, Wilson, Dervite, Wiggins, Jackson, Cousins, Fox and Poyet.
Add quality and experience to the above and we'll be away!

Should we now add Harriott to that list after the last two games? He has frustrated at times but is clearly a flair player with an eye for goal and god knows they are as rare as hen's teeth in the lower reaches of the championship. With someone like Riga to guide him, he could become a real force. Talking of whom, I was told today by a very well-connected source who has seldom been wrong that Riga had no intention of staying when he arrived and came in to do a short-term job in keeping us up - but has enjoyed it enormously and likes the people and is ready to tell RD that he is "interested" in keeping the job.

How about Chris Eagles? Let go by Bolton today - we need a wide right player... Is he affordable??

I would imagine he will have to take a huge pay cut wherever he goes, especially with FFP. No from me, the wanker didn't want to come when we were in trouble so he can jog on.

Hopefully the days of footballers demanding 30,000 a week will soon be behind us. The average wage for a championship player is about £350,000 per year. Ridiculious.

I just don't get this Alcorcon thing at all ketts because I started watching them last season as you know when they were going for the play-offs but fell away. Admittedly it all began when I regularly did them as a home banker as they had a very good home record so I would watch their games online and that is where I spotted Oriel Riera who has since joined Osasuna and is their top scorer this season. I knew I had spotted a good one because Barcelona are interested in him now!
Anyway like I was saying I can't understand this Alcorcon thing, they play in front of very small crowds and the football is not great, why they are watching us I just don't know as we are streets ahead of them as a club.

Ok, here's a not rumor for you all.
Katrien has gone on record saying the clubs goal is to have all transfers done by the end of June. We should expect signings quite quickly after the window opens.

The new arrivals will technically have signed pre contracts as existing contracts won't expire until 30/6.

It opens the first of July, however, clubs are able to make transfers after the completion of their final domestic match. They just can't go through till July 1. Hence why you see some clubs buying and selling in June.

Wiggins to Bolton Hamer to Fulham Church to Real Madrid * I made one of these up Yeah I think wiggins is a no go tbh, you would assume Bolton have to slash there wages, and wiggins would hold a large fee considering he has 4 years left on his contract, which I can't see them paying. The other two seem plausible though.

The Wiggins to Bolton one seems a strange one, so maybe there is a little truth in it? Would seem a random connection otherwise. I have also seen Diego Poyet linked to every club under the sun, and Cousins being watched by Arsenal.

I think with the RD tournament lined up for the 5-6th July, you will see our team partially sorted out well before the 1st of July. I say partially, because they may not be our starting 11 when our full season starts.

Bolton are broke and will more than likely have a transfer embargo placed on themselves. I can't see them buying anyone.

Which is why they will offer Sordell in a straight swop.
Players can sign now if they like but on pre-contract agreement terms, the contract begins on July 1st.

The only player on that list I consider would be reda Johnson, has impressed me everytime I have seen him play, but there must be a reason he has been let go by the the ruddy massives! What do you think reams, would you have any of those?

Jumped out at me too mate, think he may have started to struggle with injuries though to be honest and will end up at somewhere like Rotherham who by the way have a player I like Lee Frecklington.
