Before I post the link can I just point out that "Charlie Hill" has written this on his website.
Now without having reason to suspect Charlie's authenticity, I already fear that he is under the spell of Steve Goldby or is he Steve Goldby??
I note he is in Uni which would make him no more than id say 20 years of age but the greatest day of his life as a Charlton fan was 16 years ago when we returned to the Valley.
Now to most of you your best day as an Addick would have been of course that great day in 1992 but would it be if you were 3 or 4 years old at the time??
I for one can remember more when I was 10 than I do when I was 4 so if I were the same age of him my greatest day as an Addick would have to be the play off final which I would remember more about.
Apologies Charlie if i've got the wrong end of the stick but I fear you may not be who you say you are.
This is based on the following:
Why is it that it takes a Uni student, to tell me the in's and out's of how the FA would react to pictures appearing on a website when all the time during my time at fansonline this never came from the supposedly bloke in the know?? This is the first I have heard of it, WHY? and more to the point why you?
You are already being blagged, the only thing Goldby has ever told me that he needs a license for publishers to show pictures other than their own but they cannot afford one until the network is established and bringing it a little nit more money!!! Has he told you that??
He also told me that he would turn a blind eye to publishers who wanted to use pics using the picture account if they still had it from their rivals days?? Has he told you that too??
Anyway my point is as follows, your article still hits on the fact that I breached copyright issues, however 3 days later I and many others are still waiting for the evidence, pictures and articles I was told yet every article is still being used by the site, the only pictures he has removed are the ones that I used from FLICKR AND BEBO both of which I have accounts with as I do other companies so pictures that are paid for by myself are legal and I am willing to provide my account details as evidence, is Goldby going to come up with his?? Furthermore he still has not explained why he e-mailed me 4 days before I was dismissed asking me "If I was staying with fansonline as he was planning ahead to next season" Why ask me that if Id supposedly breached such and such??
Stop talking as if I have been a naughty boy, we both know the truth so start coming up with the facts that will prove me wrong rather than publishing malicious inuendo against me in a bid to attempt to rescue your website from the gutter.
Look at your figures over the past 48 hours, clearly people can see straight through you.
You know the saying "Give a person enough rope"
Let it go for crying out loud and stop the cheap shots on your site knowing I cannot go on there and defend myself, get over it and grow up.
Happy dangling!!
