I saw this headline on newsnow and did'nt even look at it's origin I just thought oh the fans are backing our chairman over the new pricing structure issue so then I click on it and it's our OS talking about Andy Murray and Paddy Power.
This is unbelievable I look through every championship website that there is and not one diverts away from their club, most even have news and pictures from the first few days of pre-season training and transfer news and targets.
IT'S A JOKE.

i've said this on another thread - i know pictures of new signings being paraded and news of new merchandise going on sale will be dismissed by some as blatent propaganda, but at least it builds up anticipation for the new season. If i'm gonna bet on the tennis then i will, regardless of whether a Charlton football site runs some story on it.

Could it possibly be part of a sponsorship agreement with PaddyPower that the OS should tempt people to 'click through' to their website? What would be good to know is whether just clicking through earns for the Club or whether we need to actually place bets having done so. Maybe we should all just click through on the off chance that we would hopefully earn enough to pay the wages of our new superstars like... er...

From the article "More punting possibilities are available by clicking here - and remember, every bet fans have with Paddy Power via www.cafc.co.uk earns the club money. In addition, supporters who open a new account and make a flutter will also be credited with a free £20 bet from Paddy Power."

Are we promoting gambling now then Dan?
I had an addiction once upon a time and the impact it had on my life wasn't very nice.
If the club and Paddy Power have such a close relationship why didn't they sponsor us instead of some mickey mouse company?

Looks like we are. All clubs have a bookie they have a tie up with. We're no different.
