maybe it's a scouting exercise on our part. As i understand it, Iran have quite a good up-and-coming national team.

It has already been reported by Rick Everitt elsewhere that this came is not likely to be played in Iran, so don't book your flights yet.

If the game is not to be held in Tehran I don't see the point in playing it because the only possible motive I can see for arranging the fixture in the first place was for our players to acclimatise to a hostile crowd so that they are used to it when they get back home to The Valley ;D
