You never see it over here but you do around the world at certain clubs.
So if we retired a number in honour of a legend what would it be?
Id have to say 10 as in Clive Mendonca.

i think you do see it here on occassions. Didn't Man City do it for their number 23 shirt after Marc Vivien Foe died, likewise QPR after Ray Jones passed away.

It's a nice idea, but has to be in exceptional circumstances in my book. (eg if someone pegs it whilst playing). Mendonca is rightly a legend for what he contributed... but wasn't at the club long enough.
If Rufus had stayed injury free and was still with us, he'd be a great call. As is Bartram.

See it here a few times as Exeter say Man City deffo did
think maybe when a player drops while playing it should be retired, for all great players then we would be into using 3 fgure numbers, espically the way Pards uses players
