It's already been covered on another thread andy without any feedback so I doubt if many have heard of him.
If this is a goer though I would have my reservations as if supposedly higher profile loans like Sinclair and Cook flopped what is Hammill going to do.
We cannot assume he would be the same type of player but what would stand out for me if it happened is that we would be downscaling on the quality of loan signings which if we cannot afford permanent signings would be disasterous.

Sure he was mentioned on this board when his loan spell was over and he returned to Liverpool, being that they have an excellernt youth set up, with luck he should be better than Chelsea's Sinclair who proved just to be a show pony.

Word from the Southampton fans is he shows flashes of brilliance but not enough over the course of the season to constitute a good player.
Liverpool seem to have high hopes for him though.
I'm surprised Martinez is going in for him really as we already have 3 very good left wingers.
