Anybody reckon Adam Bolder could do a job for us?
Personally I think he might be worth enquiring about especially as he is/was QPR's club captain but fell down the pecking order last season being released on loan to Sheffield Weds.
If anybody has never heard of him you should do as he scored QPR's goal at The Valley last season.
A hard working player I think and with the anticipated influx at Loftus Road soon to arrive he may be surplus to requirements.
No rumours of this I might add, just my personally enquiry.

More of a worry are reports this afternoon that Norwich have out bid us for Wes Hoolalan. I have to ask how ??
Surely we can offer him much more then Norwich and not just money..come on Charlton best player seen at the valley last year and we can't out bid Norwich..do we want to go up

i agree BB, if those reports are true then it is very disappointing. Surely we'd get at least £1m for Thomas, all of which could be put towards securing Hoolahan if necessary. It's one thing to lose a potential target to a better side, but another to lose him to a team which consistently finishes below you.

Narwich can't beat us or Sheff Utd on wages.

You all know my opinions on this so I better not reiterate them for the fear of being put in my place.
What I will say is Hoolahan is quality at a bargain price with potential profit attached if he is ever sold on.
Even at £250,000 he costs money which we haven't got so there's the first problem, but its no surprise really that we have that predicament when we spend almost half of that on a player who with all due respect to him(Fleetwood) we really did not need.
I suspect our targets will be freebies and loans which rules Hoolahan out of the equation, maybe we were never interested in him in the first place but that still creates the question of why?
It doesn't look to clever for any club when you cannot attract the better players out there especially at knockdown prices.

Shut up Reams. Get in your place. ;D In fairness, we don't even know if Pards is interested in Hoolahan, Bolder or Williams. And honestly, I'm having real trouble thinking of a playmaker of suffiecient quality from outside the Premiership that I could mentally fit into our squad. Whatever anyone's opinion of Pardew is, he has to choose who to buy and (to a certain degree) at what price. We have to hope he has players in mind that are within our reach, and are capable of getting. If it starts to go tits up before Christmas, then he'll have some serious questions to answer - and not just from us. No doubt Hoolahan looks a good buy. But I can't take anything for granted until someone's signed on the dotted line. I'm trying really hard to wait and see. Trying. Hard. God help me, I'm cracking up!

Baring in mind the players that we have bought over the past 2 years I think that we need to adopt the same approach as Barcelona where the president and the board buy the players and the manager only gets a small input. ;D

Yeats of Colchester, failed a medical at Palarse this week, discolated his shoulder last season doing a flying swallow dive after scoring a spectacular goal, has slight movement restriction, in the shoulder, but has been under intensive physiotherapy and movement excercises, real 100% worker.
AP, he's worth a look, bustling mid-field/playmaker who can see a goal and make one for team mates, early career as a Spurs youth before going on loan to Colchester, signed permanent by Colchester after Martin Jol left.
