OK, how about these 3 for nothing? Bocanegra, S Carr & Nobby solano. All been released and are up for grabs for nothing.

i'd take Bocanegra as a replacement for McCarthy though.

My line of thought on Solano is replacing reid thus releasing ZZ again to do his thing. No player is to good for us, murphy & parker thought that and good ridence to them. I want players that want to play for us , not the likes of Thomas & Ambrose who think they are doing us a favour. Oh to have brown Mendonca Di Canio & robinson back, not to mention rufus & costa! OK I'm dreaming now, but makes you appriciate how good that team was compaired to now.

Strange comment from you CA. I dont think Ambrose is anything of the sort and has never come over that way.

The thing with Ambrose is he never looks like he is up for the battle, and to be honest apart from his first season does not look a good player, to in and out of games. This is my opinion mind and I know people out there rate him, the same as I rated old Kish.

i think Thomas may be overrating himself but i think Ambrose is a very middle class player who deserves to be in the starting lineup

Andy Cole been released by Sunderland, he's old but would get some goals for us, noy like JFH
