Really does make you angry that with all the dead money we have thrown around yet again for some Nothing players on loan, we could have used it to go the extra mile to keep Holland and Fortune, we need them both now more than ever.
Another decision based on financial and not footballing reasons.

Thing about Holland is that you think you don't need him when things are going well, but he's the guy when the chips are down. How about a match by match fee?

Reams, The business that the club is needs to make many decisions on financial matters. The season ticket offer is based on financial reasons. The signings in the club shop are based on financial reasons. Football is not still living in the 1960s. Football Clubs are big business, some having huge turnovers. The problem is that for too long, they have lived in a bubble that has not followed the economy & as a result you see teams such as Portsmouth & Chrystal Palace almost out of business. Other huge clubs have massive debt that if certain people walked away from, would cause massive knockon financial problems to these clubs.
No doubt Holland & Fortune would have been good inclusions in our squad but it was documented that contracts were offered & not taken up.....thats a business financial decision by both parties... not just the club.
