I know the season hasn't long ended but in my house the countdown is on to August and the wait is like watching paint dry, I don't think I have ever experienced so much boredom.
Anyway when do players contracts expire for God's sake let's start getting rid of the rubbish and bring in some new blood.
Pardew said the other day that he will not bring in anybody who does not have the ability to challenge for a first team place which although spot on in theory is he not forgetting that our first team last season were nowhere near good enough so in my book an average new player could get in to it.
What he should be saying and doing is bringing better players in than what we have got and telling the current crop to fight for their place surely!
