to take over West Ham, seems Icelandic owners prepared to do a deal with two people who they know have the money in the bank, whereas others in the pipeline 'may' have enough to pay the required amount.
Come on Charlton, chase the other interested parties who could have money 'burning holes in their pockets' right now and are looking for an investment in a UK Football Club

Remember folks as we are always reminded 'The Valley, the club is in a prime London location, biggest residential area and more to be built, Thames Gateway, near the Olympics 2012, blahh blahh....'
Strange that no one appears to be interested in us. Maybe they will have to give the club away.

THis is a major blow to us..i understand Gold and Sullivan are the only people to show us any interest and the board were pinning their hopes on them..now our future i would say looks doomed unless someone comes forward quickly..
Bottom line if we dont find someone by end of season there might not a team to support next season that is how bad things are..

maybe if the club stopped going on about how far we have come from the dark old days of selhurst,it not the fans who put us there in the first place!! when we were in the premiership all that time we should have graced a fucking cup final or something or got into europe, instead we just go by the charlton way. these investors can sense there is something missing at the club, they want a club that strives to compete not a club that makes silly videos of a win at highbury and is allergic to a cup run..lol

Bang on Terry !!!. Why wearnt the club sold or huge new investment found when we were riding high in the Premiership when there was no recession surely an ideal time to sell especially when you dont make money if your an owner of a football club.

A black day indeed.I hate WH with a passion. They only stayed up by lying and cheating crookery. Then when they were in trouble they got Icelandic buyers ,now when they f..cked it up again they have again come up smelling of roses. They make me f..cking sick. I am so angry I am even finding it difficult to type this. I suppose we have to carry on the same, going round with the begging bowl looking for 'frees' and loans while those c..ts will be sporting massive grins and buy their way out of trouble again. I had to turn Talksport off this morning because I can't stand listening to the non stop fans gloating. UGH! UGH!

Totally agree sidcupsid.I've been on my pc all morning with Sky Sports News on in the background and so pissed-off with all the Wet Spam 'Academy of football' bollocks that I just had to turn the TV over to Bargain Hunt......It's THAT bad!

Neither Sheffield United or Curbs have been paid yet.
