Do we need 7 strikers?

Subject to signing Fleetwood , do we really want a handful of unhappy benched strikers who'll probably not get more than a dozen starts all season:-

Varney, Gray, Todorov, Dickson, McCleod, Iwelumo, Fleetwood, could be eight if we don't sell Marcus.

Obviously Dickson and McCleod will go out on loan, but the wage bill for the strikers will be astronomic.

I think that come the start of the season it will be narrowed down to 4.

Varney, Gray, Fleetwood and Toddy.

We may have 7 now VV but my concern is that we do not have a proven goal every other 2 game hitman.

We cannot afford another season where our strikers goals combined do not even exceed the Championship's leading scorer on his own.

We needed a Hunt or Mendonca brought in, not yet another striker to pin our hopes on.

Bent signing for Wigan

Toddy and Dickson are not fit yet after long injuries, McLeod won't be seen till after xmas if that....and Walker has been sold

so we have Gray, Varney and Big Chris,yes we ned another striker

Toddy has recovered and according to the OB is fitter than when he joined last year. Fleetwood will sign on Tuesday or Wednesday next week, Dickson in light training, only Izale a long term injury = 7.

If Bent stays, personal terms holding up deal, we will have 8 strikers.
