There's been some talk at their end (not quite sure 'exactly' where this comes from though), of our and one or two other clubs interest in this young lad. As a matter of fact my brother- in- law (who lives in Lincoln), is a big Imps fan and he tells me the following. He's only 18 and was drafted into the side earlier this season because of injuries and suspensions and thus far has acquitted himself really well. Still a bit lightweight though but should bulk up as he gets older.Has tremendous energy and bottle and can put himself about as they say....good in the air and times a tackle really well. Wouldn't of course walk straight into our starting line up but could well be one for the future. Might need to strike whilst the irons hot though, as there are a few others sniffing around. His dad also used to play for Lincoln.

Central defender, a problem position this season and another good youngster coming in would be most welcome. Is Sodje going to be with us next season?

erik...you're not listening are you. Hone is only 18 and nowhere near ready for the Championship. He's just considered a fine young prospect at present. 'If' he were to sign for a Championship club I suspect he'd go out on loan somewhere to the lower leagues to gain experience. Even him staying at Lincoln, although signed for another club, wouldn't be beyond the realms of possibility....I think it's possible for him to do that. Given that Paddy is thankfully staying next season (and possibly beyond), I assume you 'wont' be renewing your season ticket as promised? You will be so sadly missed! ;D

Dull, really dull..oh I do apologise for being so dull
And, you are right I won't be renewing my season ticket and I won't be coming at all if McCarthy starts many games. Do you honestly think that we are going to get promoted with a player of McCarthys [in]ability?

Do you honestly think that we are going to get promoted with a player of McCarthys [in]ability? Erik..if over the years I'd have refused to buy a season ticket because of every player I've disliked, then I would have missed just about every season as there's always one or two around. As a matter of fact, I don't believe you anyway, as no one could be that f'ing dopey...or could they? I went to both Norwich and Leicester away over the Christmas period and he was the best defender on the park on both occasions (for both sides), so what you gotta say about that then...he also scored a late equalizer at Leicester as a matter of fact. The guy had a somewhat shaky start but has slowly won over the vast majority of fans (as can be clearly seen by his showing in the player of the year poll). Not a world beater by any means and we have had better and would need to again if we got promoted I suppose, but he's a good solid pro who's been well worth his place(by good Championship standards), especially since Christmas...he's been one of the few who kept up a reasonable standard and form, unlike many others who you could slag off with total justification. You made a comment or two about Paddy a few months back and have stupidly dug your heels in about him ever since, coming out with more and more ridiculous comments just to get a reaction. It's become boringly repetitive and predictable or as Dan says...very very dull. Because your opinion of him is so completely illogical, can I ask you a straight question...is your opinion clouded by the fact he's Irish? Cos that wouldn't surprise me in the least!
