Anyone been?
Amazing day out with school mates, a mass of surging everyone having a crazy time.
Decided i would start one did not notice the big lump behind me was OB so i was marched out. Though the terrace across the corner of the pitch and slammed against the metal cupboards in the portacabin were a WPC took my details.
Plod had my arm behind my back raised very high and jogged me down the terrace if i had lost my balance arm would have snapped.
WPC was vey nice in more ways than one took my details said i better leave the ground sharpish as if i was seen i would be nicked, think Plod were struggling that day.
i hung around the station for my mates then it got more eventful at Earls Court.

One of my first CAFC games was at Plough Lane, I remember it was 0-0 I think, Dave Basset was their manager and my old man was our asst. manager, I recall midway through the first half some kind of disturbance in their end when about 200 Addicks fans suddenly started singing, they all got marched around the pitch into the away end

Only went once and saw Charlton win 3-1.... goals from Rob Lee, Killer and Ronnie Moore got his 150th.... met Steve Gritt and when discussing Mark Hulyer and Mike Glikstein said that Hulyer had all the ambition and none of the money and Glikstein had all the money and none of the ambition..... I also remember the day for CAFC taking over the Sports and Social Club at Plough Lane and the community singing before the game
