Sodje did his hamstring mate - we might be seeing a bit more of our Spanish friend than we might all be comfortable with for the moment!

Let's hope it's just a stunt to pull him out of the Nigeria squa but somehow I can't see it because the place to dod that would have been in the last minute on Saturday.
Injuries are mounting up andd what a time for them to happen coinciding with other players that we have who have gone off the boil.

You never know, Llera could play out of his skin on Saturday to make up for it. I could even start believing that if we weren't playing 'dirty' Leeds. Worse still, at their gaff too. The own goal clearly destroyed his confidence, and after making numerous mistakes it sounds like he literally snapped and went from fouls to needless fouls, and then to downright violence. I can't tell you how much the Colchester commentators were laughing about him. They'd never seen anything like it - apparently the two players he pushed over (in the space of about 3-4 minutes) weren't just nudged over or out-muscled... He physically shoved them! 1 - In the BACK; 2 - In full view of the referee; 3 - Making no attempt whatsover to get the ball! There's just no way we can play him Saturday. What a bloody easy teamtalk that'd be for Grayson to give Leeds: "F*ck the rest of the team lads, just run at Llera, kick him when you go in for the tackle, and elbow him when he's defending a corner". My god, we'd concede three goals in the first five minutes alone, and he'd be sent off so early in the game I'd be willing to bet Simon Jordan wouldn't even have had time to finish putting the day's second coat of Dulux Matt Orange on his face.

I may have made him a scapegoat tonight but his performance has gone a long way in explaining why he never made it in Spain and why also alot of MK Dons fans were not to displeased to see the back of him, however he is not alone too many of them were just not up for it tonight, I can take a defeat but I just can't stomach non triers especially when you have your captain coming out this week saying he doesn't want to see nay gaps in the away end and he wants to hear the fans all night.
He also said how much the players appreciate the away support this season and what a lift it gives them..............what the fook happene tonight then Nicky apart from a team performance that makes a mockery of your every word.
They owe themselves and the fans a massive performance on Saturday and if Carlisle can dod it then so can we, it's all about bouncebackability so have we got it, on Saturday we are going to have to have.

Harsh Reams, harsh. I don't think you're giving enough credit to the way Colchester played after they'd got the first goal. Before that bit of good luck came their way, we were well on top and looked like scoring. We were shellshocked and getting that second goal inside a minute killed us. From that moment on, they played like a team in control. They attacked us at will, and it's no surprise we caved in - we just couldn't get out! We WERE below par, and it's a fair bet that a lot of the players probably could have given a bit more, but you've seen us play like that before and carve up far superior teams. Tonight it was our turn, that's all. We just have to try and make sure it doesn't happen again. Starting Saturday. When we crush Dirty Leeds. ;D

Appreciate your reply swordfish but have to disgree on the harshness, Odejayi was heading for the knackers yard during pre-season then all of a sudden he pops up with his first goals of the season and it's against us.
Colchester might have played well but all Boothroyd had to say to them was disrupt their midfield passing and get amongst them which they did, but what did we do about it? Nothing because we have no back up game plan so Colchester prepared their performance tonight off the pitch watching video's of us etc and put things into effect on it which we had no answer to and the reason for that is we are taking the way we play for granted so much so that it hasn't worked for the past 4 games but did we have another avenue to go down? No!!
The name of the game is if the way you set your stall out doesn't work you do not let the reasons why beat you which should have been PP's and the players mentality tonight, we might not win games by having to resort to football that isn't pretty but you make bloody well sure that you don't lose the game either.
If your plan A does not work and you have no plan B the first rule is to work hard to stifle how your opponents operate with their style of football and make sure that their game plan is also stopped, tonight that was to cut the supply off to Platt, Lisbie and Odejayi, we didn't do it and Colchester made us look very poor.

I said it the last two years and this season we dont have phyically strong players against the majority of teams in the football league. Other than the usual 10 min spell we usually have in the 1st half of games we was out battled by their two centre forwards, two centre backs and o'Toole who is a great loan signing from Watford. We were poor tonight because of this. Burton was getting beaten up. Elliott was jittery as always. His fault for the 1st and 3rd goals. 1st one he should of shouted to Llera to leave it to him. No one was around Llera and Elliot can see whats in front of him.
If we go 4 in midfield we will get murdered.
A bit of a shi**er about Sodje didnt see him get injured as we left with 13 mins to go. Had enough and on the way back a forced diversion of the a12 didnt help on the way back.
