What does he say that is any different to the official club line, namely Charlton agreed a fee, which Scally then withdrew. Charlton were happy to loan him out but wanted a recall clause. In the end, shock horror, Charlton have loaned him to a team who might actually offer some money for him! I think the Gills spin doctors have got to work on this story.

I think that Parkinson or one of the Directors should have a word with Dickson about how to conduct himself. He's still employed by CAFC whichever way he wants to look at it. I do agree that that Scally is fervently spinning this story to save face. He though is just making himself look more and more pathetic and has ruined a perfectly good working relationship with a much larger and more professional neighbouring club. He'll soon want to come begging for more players and will regret saying all this bollox. He will be pissed-off when realising he's burnt his bridges with CAFC but idiots like him never see beyond the end of their nose...and still doesn't explain why the runt hasn't paid long overdue bills due to us. Ignorant waaanker to the extreme.

Bring him back from Bristol, put him on the bench for the rezzies and dump him off the pay-roll as soon as possible, thinks because he joined us a couple of years ago he should command a first team place and talking to the press behind Directors and Parly's back proves what a waste of space he really is.
A true professional footballer talks to his manager about his asperations, not Dickson, he'd rather talk to Scully who will use him in the lower divisions until he's no use to any other club or farm him back to a non league club when the goals dry up.

Don't agree. All he's doing is hedging his bets. He's thinking he may end up there sooner or later, and he doesn't want their fans assuming he didn't want to go there and starting to turn on him. Like Bingaddick said, he hasn't said anything controversial; our board DIDN'T want him to go there. Because they still owe us money from the Josh Wright loan last season! And when they tried to loan him, we couldn't agree terms. In fact, Dickson himself is quoted as saying "...they insisted on a call-back clause which I was not happy with". I think he wanted to go to the Jills with a view to a permanent move and to get some first-team football, and the prospect of going there again for 28 days and then being called back just to sit on our bench didn't ring his bell! By the time that c*nt Scally had thrown his toys out of his pram and Dickson had to pick between Rovers and whatever other club was interested, he probably realised we weren't going to let him go AT ALL if he wouldn't agree to the call-back clause. Hence, he finally went. I haven't got a problem with what he said at all. Once again, it's they way those w*nkers at Jills365 have chosen to try and blame us for everything that's making us look bad... Nothing Dickson said has actually made us look unprofessional, it's them - "Charlton Athletic striker and long-time Gillingham transfer target Chris Dickson has revealed the REAL reason why he didn’t join the Gills on loan" - B*LLOCKS. If he continues to score during his loan, I'd be happy to have him back. A couple of injuries and he would be straight into the starting line-up.

If you still need convincing, just look at the rest of the Jills365 website and read the other nonsense they've written regarding the deal. They're cretins of the highest order. They deserve Scally and Scally deserves them.

its quite a shame about Dickson because he's always had certain attributes about his playing style that were quality but the twit goes and f*cks it up because he can't mature

You're never gonna change my mind on Dicko - I've always wanted him in our first team, and - well I never - he's scoring goals again as soon as he gets first team football. I've spent the last two-and-a-half years winking as I say "Chris Dickson - he's the future" to my mates at work (to just about anyone actually, even total strangers in the street), and now I get texts from them all the time asking why we've loaned him out! I got one the other day off a girl I haven't seen for a goddamn YEAR! She supports Spurs and plays Sunday League and has absolutely no interest in League One football, and not only did she notice we'd loaned him out, she remembered him and had to check the story was true with me before she believed it. Bring him back! Now!! Before it's too late!!
