Come on people make a effort
Standing up if you love Charlton is not that hard
Might even stop Rigor mortis setting in

haha agreed. No need to go mental, but surely making a bit of noise and generating some atmosphere is part of the fun, even for young families

The Mexican Wave came about because the fans were bored at watching boring football and needed to liven up proceeedings and needed some excitement and decided to entertain themselves.
Only time seen fit to join in was when "stand up if you hate AP", which at the time was appropriate
You stand up if you want, I'll carry on presuming you're bored and remain seated.

A bit embarrassing when the small group of Exeter City fans sing "Shall we sing a song for you"

Very fair comment so how about a deal. We all stand up but north upper stop singing Adams crap and sing some songs about the players and parky.

Yeah, I think that Addams song has run it's course. First time it was funny now it is a pain!
