So there is one transfer target gone www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12875_3600673,00.html And Hudson is set to sign for QPR so another one bites the dust. Is it that we are not an attractive proposition anymore or has our ridiculous spending finally caught up with us meaning the coffers are empty and we can not even match the wages of what Norwich are prepared to pay, never mind QPR

Fair comment bexley, admittedly I only read what everybody else does but in saying that I would have thought that when free transfers are available and the players concerned are better than what we already have, then the assumption for me would be that we have to be interested surely? IMHO we have 5/6 players to find with the funds for around 3 of them so I would rather good experienced out of contract players on a free than going back down the loan route which was part of our downfall last season. Let's get players in who want to wear the shirt for 90 minutes every week rather than spending their time worrying about what the future holds for them. I know that a few over on CL are urging Pards to take the silent approach and pounce on or around deadline day like Curbs did but personally I would rather do without the likes of Murphy and Jeffers thankyou very much Maybe I am being a little inpatient because other clubs are already making moves, but there again Pardew did say we would steal a March on other clubs so naturally that has heightened my expectancy levels or is it a case of more fool me for listening ;D Time to sit down with my book waiting to be told how do I know that negotiations with players are not already going on
