I have been expecting quite a lengthy list to be announced but just dribs and drabs so far.
I am aware that contracts don't expire until the end of next month and new ones start on July 1st but it is not preventing other clubs from announcing player departures and surely doing this early would help them find new clubs.
Does this mean that most of the squad will be retained? which would be a nonsense to me we have far too many players and I fully expect Pardew to be on a sell to buy policy aswell as get players off the payroll to free up funds for new players too.
I find it very disconcerting that we appear to be dragging our heels in alot of things at the moment including New Kit launch and a New Sponsor if Llanera's deal has expired.
I hope things to start happening in the next month otherwise Pardew's "We will steal a march on our rivals" comments will unfortunately go down as more cock and bull and that's before a ball has been kicked ;D
