Just heard Andy Robinson is set to leave Swansea for Leeds too again on a free so that is two wingers much better than anything we have going begging  Time some fingers were pulled out I think  |

Yeh iv'e just seen it, a little bit cheesed off to tell you the truth, it's no secret that we haven't alot of money to throw around so losing out on quality freebies shouldn't really be happening either in my book.
Anybody feel the same?

It's very early days, and as they say, 'there are plenty more fish in the sea'. I'm sure by the end of July the squad will have had its fair share of ins and outs.

Theres so much that we dont know or hear, such as the bloke not wanting to move South, another club prepared to throw £X at him, Management not interested etc etc

Paul mate, you have an unswerving and never ending opinion that every player who you rate and either goes to another club or doesn't sign for us is someone we've somehow let slip through our grasp.
I find that both strange and frustrating...for starters you don't know if we were in the frame in the first place. That's without all the thousand and one reasons why a transfer may or may not come off anyway.
We also have to face the unpalatable truth that we don't have quite the same pulling power that we have been used to for the last few years or so.

I agree but I do not think that there is a Charlton fan out there that does not have a shortlist of players that they would like to see down at the Valley, that's only natural and everybody's mind works overtime at this time of year. It is unlikely that most names match the ones on Pardew's list and we'll just have to wait and see whether that is a good thing or a bad thing. Commons and Andy Robinson were on mine and would run rings around Ambrose, Thomas and Sam with their eyes closed  Two very good wingers that get their head down and leave defenders standing. |
