Just got home and I'll tell you what that was awesome, we played them off the park without even breaking a sweat, a superb display and credit to the 600 or so Addicks who made the journey.
My ratings are.
Elliot ...............Little to do but his handling was assured when coming for crosses. 7 out of 10
Richarson..........solid and supported Sam so well. looking like John Humphrey more and more every game. 7
Dailly..............Signing of the season, did not put a foot wrong 8
Llera.....see below 7
Youga....early booking but recovered his composure, the best I have seen him play 7
Shelvey..........Oozed class covered every blade of grass 9
Bailey......... Taken a back seat out on the left whilst the middle men get the credit, but still looked the part
Semedo.........Can't speak highly enough of him, underated yet ran the show and scored a fine goal. 9
Racon.........Box of tricks Tranmere could not get near him 8
Sam........Never give 10's but today I have to make an exception, the right back was punch drunk, Lloyd was outatanding with two good goals to boot. 10
Chant of the day - Wasn't a a chant as such but 4-0 up and in cruise control Tranmere strung 6 passes., together each of which was greeted by a cheer from Charlton fans until we broke the passing up and that was greeted by us all booing lol!!
Moan of the day - Llera, he was steady and nothing got past him but again he let himself down with a stupid booking for pulling a shirt when there was no need, he also went down to easily as if he had been poleaxed, waving his legs about when grounded but he was up on his feet seconds later each time.
Key moment of the day - I had been waiting for the players to come to the fans all day for one reason and one reason only - which one or two even three would salute the fans as if they were doing it for the last time...............................The answer is none of them and I was made up, Parky even got a chant today which also mae my day, he deserves it, not just for the performance or the fact that we are top with 5 wins, but for uniting this team as one, as the title says, a pleasure to watch
