I'd heard we'd put a bid in (dont know how much) and that they'd knocked it back asking for twice as much, so either he's told them he wants to leave (ala Parker) and they've accepted losing him, or we've gone back with a higher bid.

He would be a great signing Dan, all we want in midfield then is Coppinger from Doncaster and it would be like having Kinsella and Robinson back all over again ;D
That would leave;
A keeper..........Foster on loan from Man Utd
2 centre Halves...........Hudson and McCombe
Maybe another winger..........Nip ahead of Derby for Forest's Kris Commons if we can
And a striker............Chopra or Frasier Cambpell(loan) maybe
With these on board I think we will have a well balanced squad full of ability although I hear Fotheringham the Norwich midfield captain is close to signing.
