Couple on snippets of what he says
Read the rest for yourself
"concentrating solely on preparing the team as boardroom talks regarding the future of the club continue behind the scenes."
"time is running out as only five days remain until the end of the transfer window, the Addicks boss is focused on the issues he can control.
"The situation is frustrating, but I understand people are working every hour there is to get matters resolved,” Phil told the media on Thursday"
"I know the incredible amount of work going on behind the scenes to resolve the situation - I know the chairman and the board are working tirelessly in the best interests of the club.
"Hopefully that can come to some form of conclusion and we can move forward, but my hands are tied, so I'm just concentrating on preparing the team for Saturday."

How much more talking is there left to do on the takeover.....getting stupid come the end of the season we will be blaming the takeover for not getting promotion...this transfer window is important for Charlton.....sounds like its touch and go it will be completed by Tuesday

does seem very touch and go for the tranfer deadline, would be a great shame, unless we get our targets on loan after the deadline and pay for them in Jan or send them back if they are crap.
I really hope its not petty things holding this up as this is not in the best interests of the club

I am not over concerned about the team overall as long as we don't lose any more players. Even up front Burton is playing out of his skin and McLeod seems lively. But we must learn from the problems of last season when we only had 2 fit centre backs. All the good work Parky has put in will be for nothing if Dailly or Llera get injured.

This T/O for me, is the single most important issue that the club has faced for years… The outcome of it will prove that point.. If it’s a favourable outcome, we keep our squad, with a chance of building on it, if not, we’ll all witness the downside very quickly… Until it’s all over and we get an official announcement I’m prepared to believe Parky’s statement that “the chairman and the board are working tirelessly in the best interests of the club“… If that doesn’t prove to be the case, I’m sure everyone will protest in some way, and I’ll certainly protest the best way I know… As fans, we really don’t have many options at the moment, other than to wait and hear what our grate board announces?…
