Has there been any news on how bad Lloyd Jones` injury is?
We really missed him on Saturday and the sooner he is back, the better!

Very much unsubstantiated rumours via the other forum of a stress fracture in his leg…..8 weeks out……..Seriously hope this rumour is just bollocks as he has been our best player and we certainly missed him on Saturday Nothing confirmed by the club yet…..the usual minor leg injury quoted on Saturday……😳

Been told today 4 weeks out.
Will be the biggest miss, specially again teams with big centre forwards like the Barnsleys and Wrexhams.

Going to be massively missed however long he is out for.
Need to get him to extend his contract asap as well.

Best player in the early part of the season. Hard to think of a headed duel he hasn’t won.

Apparently he told a supporter at the Wrexham game he was three weeks away……Obviously this is an unsubstantiated rumour……We don’t tend to hear that many injury return timelines from the club……Aneke has disappeared into the Charlton Bermuda Triangle of unknown injury timelines joined by Kanu, Potts, Watson and now TC apparently……. So your guess is as good as mine really…..🤔🤔

Jones has been fairly cryptic about Lloyd Jones’ injury but I guess it’s reasonable to assume it’s a stress or hairline fracture in the foot area. That would fit with it being a surprise when Jones was Xrayed for something else.
Apparently, stress fractures take 6-8 weeks to heal. Jones last played against Birmingham on October 5th. Conservatively, he might then be available at Lincoln on December 7th, meaning he’d miss Exeter (A), Peterborough (H), though that might be postponed, Huddersfield (A), Burton (A) and Crawley (H). As I’ve just posted elsewhere, it would be surprising if we have the option to postpone that match against Peterborough and decide not to do so.

Crikey……if true that means we might have potentially 5/6 more games where we may well have to score 2/3 goals a game to get any sort of result….. Hoping you are wrong with this one mate……🙏

Probably back on grass, flat on his back clutching his hamstring. So business as usual? We all know that he will come back, make a difference, and get injured again without achieving that many minutes. We have new backroom staff who haven't been able to solve the problem of why he keeps breaking down so not much is likely to change until he moves on.

I suspect that moving on will mean out of the game. Unless someone takes him on on a pay as play basis. Quite sad really, as I enjoy the little boost of expectation that his coming on gives us. Even if it doesn't always pan out.
