I don't necessarily blame him though for the turgid anti-football we are seeing.
The real issue is Global Football Partners, who have dealt him a shit hand.
They have the backing to take their ownership seriously if they really wanted to but the deeper they are into it the more investment it's going to take and that is something they obviously don't want to do.
It's all hunky dorry off the pitch in teh fcking car park and new swanky offices but the one thing that matters most, the football, is no better under them than it has been under any previous ownership.
It's the same old approach with signings too, they were afforded excuses with their first window, and then they were given leeway the following January when clubs hiked prices for 'target's.
No excuse for the summer just gone though. It's not been good enough and they are solely responsible.
They sold May to fund a rebuild but the recruitment has been shockingly poor and Jones, Scott and the owners have to take responsibility for that because between them it's been as bad a squad build as any since teh Duchatelet era.
At least we had a team to be proud of back then even though the owner was despised. Even Sandgaard brought in Rak Sakyi.
These days under GFP we have we have been blessed with some real scraping teh barrel footballers who I wouldn't watch if they played in my back garden.

We missed an opportunity by just ignoring loans for a start. That was a mistake. The decision to not block our academy players is a joke.
I love our academy. We’ve produced some great players but our current crop aren’t at it. It’s obvious to everyone.
This team isn’t as bad as our performances though. Nathan just can’t get them to work.
Genuinely don’t think Nathan has a clue how to make this team work. He’s desperate.

Kanu is garbage, Anderson not much better, only TC comes out with any credit for me. This is the owners game though, that's what they are up to, hoping one or two shine so they can sell. Just how naive can you be?

Jones totally at fault, has no idea past lumping the ball forward!
Get someone else in, who is willing to play with wingers and a back 4.

Karoy and Kanu are both current international players. They are not garbage but just playing in a poor side and watching "passes" sail over their heads.
Last season Kanu basically played target man for May but still got six (one in five) out of position, none penalties. Not sure how many assists. He will be decent playing not as a winger but off a big No9. FFS sake he is only 19.

Sorry mate but Kanu just hasn't got it and never will have. Technically he is an amateur player.
He wasn't a target man for May either, He was thrown in because there was nobody else. He chases everything down but is still very green when players of his age have normally kicked on by now.
