Very impressed with some of those individual performances tonight.
There seemed to be much more of an energy about us than there was on Saturday.
Edun for me has jumped above Small but unlucky for him on a night where he's had a cracking game, Josh Edwards makes a comeback!
There were some very good performances in the middle of the park too although I was disappointed with Alan Campbell who didn't look in any rush to give NJ a nudge for a stating birth next Saturday.
If you want my opinion I do think NJ should consider taking his Luton hat off this weekend because Campbell or Berry are just not doing enough to be starting.
TT showed glimpses and is much better than we have at taking set-pieces. He has a very good passing range on him too. I really don't like a player of his quality being left out of the squad.
Anderson had a decent game as did Potts and Mitchell is a very good prospect too.
Up front though is a real conundrum for NJ because besides the two strikers who have been starting, we had three others on the bench at Shrewsbury and there's still Leaburn to come back so how he's going to manage that is anyone's guess.
You can't have three strikers on the bench when there are players in other positions who have done more than enough to be in the matchday squad on Saturday.
Based on the first six games, Berry and Small need to come out of the side against Blackpool.
Good to see so many players showing they are more than capable of stepping up when called upon though.

I wouldn’t take Berry out, still think he’s commanding in midfield when on his game.. we look stronger with him this season

Disagree with Berry and Anderson he was poor last night and both tackle were reckless .. Berry done well so far he gets in that space on the edge of the box could have had 4 goals already .. think Campbell done ok his early booking restricted him But agree Edun but like Watson who also played well and created the first goal got decent players in front of them but that what having a squad is all about .. Don’t think Edwards will start on Saturday he looked a little bit short last night so expect him to be in the bench along with Taylor who really showed up well last night .. and Godden has to start in place of TC

Think the line up for Saturday will be the same as Rotherham with Godden replacing TC…….NJ doesn’t like to tinker too much with a winning side so I can’t see the midfield being changed anytime soon……Edwards probably isn’t quite ready to come back in but it will only be a matter of time and then that LWB position is pretty much sewn up…. At some stage I can see Potts coming in for Gillesphey but NJ obviously likes those 50 yard diagonals that come from Gillesphey but his lack of mobility worries me especially when Small doesn’t have the same defensive discipline as Edwards…. It’s only a matter of time before Leaburn comes back into the side so it is going to be interesting to see who NJ plays up top… Kanu and Anderson are not going to get much first team action moving forward especially with Alland Campbell coming in and Leaburn returning so the best option would be to loan these two out in January…

Godden is really starting to show his pedigree now , making so many clever runs between opposing defenders , could easily have had a hat trick last night . I would have starting on Saturday with Ahadme , but look forward to him partnering Leaburn in the not too distant future.

Think I may of been a bit hasty writing Taylor off and I still think Edun has got a bit about him. Strong squad this, like to see players picked on merit. Berry and Small beware!

I thought the early booking was Edun, followed by Godden and Anderson x2. Not sure Campbell was booked last night.

I never got the Edun hate. He's far from a world beater, but he looked ok at times and I thought he might be one that NJ could work with and improve.

He wasn't mate, I think BB has made a mistake there, it was Edun who saw yellow early doors. Campbell, I thought didn't show up at all last night, he had a poor game and aprt from teh pass to Chuks to equalise against Rotherham I don't think he has done much at all. I don't like the fact that he might feel comfortable because he's played for Jones before but that's the body language I'm seeing at the moment. Other midfielders had a better game than him last night and TT should take his place on Saturday's bench if NJ selects players who have done well in an attempt to get into the matchday squad.

I think in my case I just expected him and Taylor to be brilliant and they weren’t. Hope they both get a chance to show what they’re about now.
