Supporting the front two when attacking?
I wasn't convinced by him when he signed and less so after watching him be largely ineffective during the first six games.
Edwards can't replace Small quick enough for me and I would consider Allan Camobell before Docherty too.
Not sure he is captain material, should be Jones who is more of a leader.
I just think Doc isn't involved as much as he should be. Large parts of the game pass him by and he isn't that quick either.

Admittedly I haven't seen us yet in person this season, but my impression of TC has always been that he's better out wide than in a central role.

Sorry Reams it’s a big no from me….i still have nightmares about Holden playing Kirk in the 10 role…….😳
I consider the 10 role to be the most intelligent role in the team, the position that knits the midfield and forwards together…..Unfortunately we rarely play through the lines though to a number 10 as a large proportion of our play is either Gillesphey or Mitchell hoofing 50 yard aerials towards Adhadme so I can’t see the use of a Number 10 for us the way we play…….. Berry has not been that effective as we would like because he tends to spend much of his time with Docherty trying to win the ball back as we surrender it so cheaply with long ball football so we might as well put Allan Campbell in there as the second number 8
As for TC I see him as an impact player coming on late in games and causing problems with his pace…..I don’t see him as a regular starter centre forward….

Well I asked the question and looking at the line-up at Stevenage it seems he is going to be playing as a 10.

Well I asked the question and looking at the line-up at Stevenage it seems he is going to be playing as a 10. Hoping we're looking at a 5-3-2 in defence that morphs into a 3-4-3 in attack. That's Edwards and Ramsay wide midfield with the front three rotating throughout attacks. Going to be interesting to see how this selection pans out.

So are we just unlucky? Or is the Medical man from Brighton not what he’s cracked up to be? Or is NJ and his coaching staff not doing the players any favours? It would be interesting to have an analysis of the injuries in terms of a breakdown of the types of injury. I suspect that soft tissue is a leading candidate.

Man City have more injuries than us and they will have the best pitches, equipment, personnel out there.
The majority of reason for injuries is bad luck.

Many of our injuries recently have been impact damage that have been under-punished by referees.
Of our forwards, I'd prefer Godden as a ten. He has guile and drops deep anyway. TC will be unable to use his pace against two CMs and two CBs.
