I find these games painful as the youngsters rarely know where they’re sitting and the coke/chips are more important!! Just my view..

I find these games painful as the youngsters rarely know where they’re sitting and the coke/chips are more important!! Just my view.. I have to be honest I feel the same. I sit on the half way line at the back of the East Stand and there are a fair few seats empty near where I sit and in the row in front. There will be a ‘clever’ Dad that will have bought a ticket in the blocks at the end of the stand that will plonk himself and his kids in front of me, after kick off, and the kids will spend the afternoon standing up playing on their iPads. None of the kids will be seen again until the next time they offer cheap tickets. I understand why they do it, and don’t really have an issue with it but it is my least favourite game of the season, all other things being equal. |
