Just been nominated for the ballon d'or, is this a first for a former Charlton player? Got to admit, I never thought he'd get to that level, granted he had talent but appeared lightweight and I don't think he particularly set the premier league alight at various clubs...
Also got me thinking if he'd stuck with international allegiance to England whether he would be in or around the current squad, and if so at the expense of who?

Before my time but Allan Simonsen won it in '77 and then signed for us from Barcelona in' 82... Lookman final - www.youtube.com/watch?v=IteT2WhZzEA

AS was pure class. Best player I’ve ever seen in a Charlton shirt and on a different planet to his workmanlike teammates of the time.

As good a hattrick as I have seen. He tore Brighton apart in the 1st half on his debut for us in 2015, but still Fraeye's team managed to lose. When he went to Everton, they only looked dangerous when he was on the pitch. Never seemed to attract the big teams in England, therefore always fighting relegation in the Prem. Good luck to him.
