www.charltonafc.com/news/information-regarding-it-security-incidentCharlton Athletic can confirm that the club has experienced an IT security incident, which has affected our legacy IT infrastructure as we recently migrated all core systems onto the cloud.
In line with our cyber security protocols, we have taken swift action to stop the incident and are now working with external security specialists to investigate further.
Our investigation is looking into what happened and the extent of the incident - to do this thoroughly will take time to complete. However, our website and app have not been impacted and fans can continue to use these as normal. In addition, ticket and payment details for fans is primarily managed by a third-party and not through our systems.
Our men's first-team fixture on Saturday is going ahead as planned. We are liaising closely with the EFL, Rotherham United and the relevant local authorities regarding this incident and have also informed law enforcement.
We would like to thank our fans, players, staff and the wider Charlton Athletic community in advance for their patience and understanding at this time.

Luckily it appears to have resulted in a file named "Andy Scott transfer targets.xls" being deleted

I wonder if this is related to whatever went wrong over the weekend with preparations for the match, which jones was so frustrated by ?

I hope this means that they are going to confirm my 10 year season ticket that I paid online for just before the system went down.
