That whole podcast is really good! Didn't know he was that good at youth level and had some pedigree. Was always pitched that he just basically wandered up to the training ground with his boots and fluked a trial.

Runs a hotel in Montenegro…. Was interested (I'm heading out that way in a year or so) until I saw the price. 1200 euros a night (special offer - it's usually 1950) with a three night minimum! I'm assuming that's the price for the whole villa (six rooms) as they don't seem to have individual room prices. Still pretty steep given the average double room in that area is maybe £50 a night.

Went there on a cruise lovely place but then did not know he was out there My dad was from Tivat (right across the bay from Sasa Ilic's hotel). I haven't been there since I was a kid in the 80s because I hate hot weather and beach holidays. I still have a few cousins out there so am planning a visit (at a colder time of year) and would have popped into Sasa's place if it was an actual hotel with a hotel bar people can pop into. Having checked its website, it seems to just be a posh villa you can rent all of on an Air BnB style basis, so not much use to passing Charlton fans sadly

Leaving aside the issue of where to stay, do you think Perast would be a nice place to spend a long weekend with (grown up) family? Is there much to do? Walks, boat trips, restaurants etc?
