What an engine this guy has. Didn't stop running today and people should start to realise now that in him and Godden we have two players who can run and run and score goals. You don't need all of that in the same player, it's rare that youy find it anyway.
No doubt you will have the same fools comparing him with Alfie bemoaning his lack of goals so far but when was the last time we had a striker like him for workrate and chasing and harrassing defenders? ....Yann I would say.

Only watched on stream but he did look impressive and kept their defense well occupied. Campbell not got the experience to feed from him but Godden will be different and look forward to seeing them play together.

It’s the second game in the row that ahadme and Campbell has both started and came off for godden and aneke, Todays approach was much different especially that not every ball was a long ball to Campbell which was a positive Maybe it’s a tactic approach because knowing that they have tired down the defence then the latter comes on but id mix it up and start adhame and godden.

By the time he comes off he's completely knackered the opposition defence.

I haven't been able to make any of our games yet this season, but it's great to hear he's a hard worker. Has he looked much like scoring yet? I think that'd do his confidence a world of good.

He needs to be a bit more selfish in the box. It seems like he looks to pass the ball rather than taking a shot on goal, but his pressing and work rate are exceptional.

It’s a funny old game. If Gassan had come on as a sub in the three games he may have been a goal scorer against tiring defenders.
But he has done the hard yards from the outset when defenders are fit and active. With him in the team we are capable of defending in great numbers and then hit the opposition on the counter after snuffing out the opponents attack.

I'm going to reserve my judgement a bit longer. No complaints about his work ethic, but at times I feel like he looks a bit clumsy. Today he somehow managed to revert some of those clumsy situations, almost as if he has extensible legs. Still unsure if it's failure or feature.
Will be interesting to see when Leaburn is fit / in form, what the pecking order will be.

He has been brought in to apply a high press which he does very well. People are expecting goals galore from him which won't be the case. He'll get somewhere near double figures as will those around him.

Another thing about Gas...
Best (striker) defensive header of the ball since the great Yann Kermogant...
Make no mistake, he's as good as any of our defender's, against long throws and corners!
So the clean sheets we're getting owe a good deal from him, too.

He plays he’s part of the style we play at the moment and that’s all that matters he wears defenders down will score few I think Gas and leaburn will be the partnership with godders and Chuks as subs

We’ve not created much for any of the strikers, so I’m not worried about Ahadme’s perceived ‘lack of goals’. Once we improve our creation of chances and quality of crosses, I can see him getting quite a few goals.
