Oh.
Anything to do with a telephonic implement, per chance?

I think you'll find that Mr Edwards was doing something in his private life that the BBC knew little, or nothing, about where as Mr Jenas sent an inappropriate text to a colleague and that colleague complained to her employer (The BBC). I have little knowledge of Mr Edwards behaviour nor have I seen any of the texts that Mr Jenas may, or may not, have sent but, I believe, the two situations are completely different.

Like the BBC didn’t know anything about Jimmy Saville? Sorry but my confidence on the way the BBC deals with issues is next to nothing. Apparently Huw even got a pay rise while he was suspended.

Pretty sure that is standard practice until the investigation is complete and the rulings are confirmed.

Surely you're not comparing Jimmy Saville with Huw Edwards and/or Jermaine Jenas? Yes because they worked for a public service broadcaster who is paid by us, the taxpayer. The BBC failed miserably how they handled Jimmy Saville and I feel they could’ve handed Huw Edwards a lot better. They should’ve stopped his payment let alone give him a pay rise while suspended! I agree what the BBC have done with Jermaine Jenas and I suspect a lot more is going to come out with this but it’s just inconsistency with the BBC when both the other two were more serious.

Aren’t there non-public funded areas of the BBC? I thought some of it was actually its own commercial company? It’s why they sometimes don’t share salaries etc if certain presenters as they aren-art of the commercial side?
I may be wrong on that. I’m not disagreeing with you btw.
Are there normal celebs out there nowadays? Seems everyone is a wrong-un atm
