I went to the friendly with Valencia back in the Prem days and they did something like this with their entire squad. By the time they'd finished, kick-off was so late that the game went on until 1am.

It wasn't just for Connor was it? 4 signings plus womens team signings were there from what I saw. Impressive though. Not something we ever do in this country.
I never really understood it much when Real Madrid get the likes of Mbappe to do a few kick ups in front of a full stadium. Are tickets free? Who would pay to 'welcome' a player?
