did I miss something as I was not aware that we had released him but he's not in our squad?I don't seem to remember any mention of him being released on th OS.Shame though as I still feel he would have been of use in this league.

Yes a great servant and unlike sir chris we did not have a proper opportunity of showing our appreciation after the Norwich game.
However it does make me wonder if the 'you know what' proceeds whether he will be back in harness either just as a useful squad player or player/coaching role???
Just feel that we may not have seen the last of old 'clean shorts' :-) and although never exciting matty always gave us his best unlike so many other 'take the money and run' mercenaries that dowie attracted like a magnet :-(
Top man still a useful addition in the 3rd tier assuming legs still have some gas left.

we should let these two go and look somewhere else. Holland in my opinion has been here far too long and is past it. Fortune to injury prone. Rather spend the contract money on Darren Ward.

Yes you are not wrong there wardy looked really steady and far less injury prone. Also need some younger guns.
