Unbelievable that there are some oddballs out there still slagging the club off saying Ajhadme and Godden are not good enough to replace Alfie May.
I just want to say this to them....Neither is here to replace Alfie, you can't and I don't think they would want to.
Alfie will always be an Addick but I'm getting a bit cheesed off with the negativity writing players off when they have never seen either play. I have never known a fans page or twitter forum like it.
Alfie has gone an we wish him well. it's a new era for him and for ourselves too and I am sure we will kick on now and make a real go of it next season.
We still need one or two but the bottom line is stop comparing footballers who have totally different strengths and weaknesses for that matter.
There is no pressure on any player to score 20+ goals next season that's for sure and while it would be a bonus if one did, I expect goals from all over the pitch which we haven't had for some time.
