Selling a guaranteed 15 to 20 goal man at this level to team that wants straight out of this league....when we want to achieve the same thing!!?? The team comes first obviously,and in NJ we trust,but the replacement(s) will have to be special. Doesn't sit right with me now,that video the club posted of Alfie ringing around about season ticket renewals,if there was always a chance he was off then it should've been someone else. Gutted IF he leaves. |

IF they sell Alfie, which from whats being said sounds like he will be allowed to go, its a risky risky move. you cannot guarantee goals like he got.

Well Brad did tell us didn't he and I have been having regular updates throughout today which strongly suggest that we are discussing a fee.
Not sure what kind of figure will be agreed but we are asking for in excess of 1m. If Huddersfield are prepared tp pay anywhere in that ball park then it has to be good business especially if his 'replacement' is who I believe it to be.
Please don't ask me guys because this is as much as I can share for the reasons NJ has already stated.

If we sold Alfie to Ferencvaros then I can stomach that, Wrexham and Huddersfield are both going to be up amongst it this year so I can't for the life of me work out why we'd entertain a bid from those. Even if Alfie isn't integral to NJ's plans then keeping him as an impact player whilst under contract would surely be worth more than the £1mil - sell-on clause we'd get for him if we lost out on a promotion place to one of those two.
I'll trust NJ but you don't need to trust your manager to understand we've just made our season that much harder without kicking a ball - if he does go to one of our promotion rivals.
