Why not?
Sometimes I do wonder if people get out of bed in the morning and start to look for things to complain about. Anyone that has nothing better to do than to complain about the colour of the cross on the back of a football shirt, clearly, has too much time on their hands.

Don’t keep denying it Andy- it’s inspiring you to think more about sucking cocks isn’t it.
This modernist genuflection is everywhere in the western world and I’m surprised it’s taken football this long to get involved. Probably More Nike than FA driving this I’d wager.
Are they still taking the knee at international matches? Don’t watch them these days.
Never really got why this woke stuff gets people so wound up but I am with modern philosopher Ted Clubberlang when he says there’s no chicks with dicks just men with tits.

Its not about why not, its about WHY, who else would have their national flag turned into a fooking rainbow !

I must have got out of bed the wrong side this morning as I think it looks bloody ridiculous. I wonder how many would think it ok for the sword on any future Charlton shirts be coloured as such?

It's not the same, and you know it. The England badge is not touched. In the World Cup Harry Kane was threatened with a yellow card if he showed his solidarity with the LGBTQ+ and this is, almost a repost to that. I get pissed off with us not wearing red shirts away from home when there is no clash, but if we had something similar (to the back of the collar) on our shirts it wouldn't bother me.

Yeah, that would have been a good idea.

The resident snowflake says. 'Why not"? Beggars belief. It should not need to be explained. I think he and his ilk should be the first on a plane to Rwanda.
'Good the world is moving on', says his mini me. Absolutely. Good the world is moving on so perverts can put on a dress and invade the girl's toilets any time they want.
Makes you wonder why anyone would think that is OK.

I can so imagine Nike HQ, marketing department: A: Yo boys, rainbow and pride stuff is hot right now. B: Yeah, same with playful references to the past, look at the Belgians with their TinTin-kit. C: How about a swastika in pride colors on the German shirt?

You appear to be a cowardly keyboard warrior with no bollocks, rather fitting in this case.

I do wonder if sales of shirts / kits will be affected - I think more footy fans will be against than for this kind of virtue signal. Nike were after getting their mitts on the England shirt for decades.
It’s the only currency that beats the whole so called whole thing - cold hard cash or the lack thereof.

If sales are affected I imagine that will be more about the cost of the shirts! Talk about criminal!

Referring to your post about the price of the shirts, that in itself would be enough to put me off let alone buying one where our national flag had been tampered with.

I've no idea what the difference is between the 'Authentic' and 'Stadium' versions but I'm not interested in the £85 cost let alone the £125! Insane prices. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-68632034 Sunak and Kier have commented to say the flag shouldn't be changed, which I agree with.

Nike England shirts have been a rip off for years, I hope no one buys it. I remember the good old Umbro's being excellent value for money.

It’s not the flag of St George. It’s a mishmash of colours and a load of bollocks.

Like others I have no time for snowflakes just looking for something to be offended by. A two inch Palestinian/Turkish saint’s crest in an obscure location on an overpriced top is in multiple colours rather than one? Buy the top if you like it. Don’t buy it if you don’t. It literally doesn’t affect your life in any way beyond that simple fashion choice.

It literally doesn’t affect your life in any way beyond that simple fashion choice. I couldn’t give a toss what people think the National flag should be on the ENGLAND KIT In the entire 152 year history of England football kits, the Palestinian saint’s cross has only appeared three times (all in the period 2006-2008). Why haven’t you been moaning about its absence for the past 15 years, rather than bitching about the colour of it when someone (Nike) finally brings it back? I genuinely don’t understand. You say it should be there when it hasn’t been for 98% of England shirt history, yet are complaining about its return because you don’t like the threads used. Slightly weird behaviour/attitude imho Sir x
