Yes what utter modern rubbish! “The Building Bloc is a South-London-based marketing agency with expertise in engaging with diverse local communities through innovative strategies, content production and valuable insights.” The use of the English language that is being totally abused by the minority yet again. 90% will not understand, doomed to failure!!!

Having watched charlton since the late 60's, the local catchment area from a population perspective has changed to the point of recognition. By this I mean that people that used to live and work in the locality, no longer live there.... they all moved out yonks aga ( and that includes me). So what have we done really to engage locally? If I listen to Rick Everett, it seems that the way forward is to engage with the folks who have moved away from the area, and that worked in the 90 and 00's, but there's a new fan base to get after, and we need to grow the fan base and without knowing the detail, this seems to be a different approach. How to monetise it? Good question. Perhaps one way would be to see how many match day tickets, on line clun shop merch is sold from post codes local to the valley against those that are further a field. If we're talking match day ticket, it would be helpfull if we not in a relgation scrap

They've definitely got marketing speak down to a fine art with those announcements.
Genuinely no idea what the 'Building Bloc' thing is. Couldn't find anything on 'The Building Bloc' when I did a quick search either.
Not heard of Footballco before. If they get more people interested in Charlton then great!
Edit: What we really need Taylor Swift to start dating a Charlton player. Valley would be full then! Atmosphere might not be great though!

I do wish they would focus on proper football things, like trying to keep the club in L1.
Maybe they should go into partnership with Google Maps who can help us find all of the poxy 10,000 capacity stadiums in L2 next season.

It must be an age thing, but I have to admit I haven’t a clue what this about or what it means for the club and its supporters.
However, just because it goes completely over my head it doesn’t mean it’s a bad initiative. Just wish the announcements were not written in corporate gobbledegook then maybe we’d have a clearer idea what it’s all about.
No doubt there are some clever sods out there who can explain👍🏻.

What Footballco actually do and who pays for its services is above my pay grade, but according to Companies House it's very much a 'real' enterprise having raised >£100m in equity and with revenues >£50m pa (albeit never turning a profit).
If its investors are happy to fund its losses whilst it provides some kind of promotional boost to the club then so be it.
The Building Bloc meanwhile seems to be a just incorporated enterprise with only a mobile contact phone number.
