RIP Steve Wright. A master of his profession.
Steve, BBC Radio 1 and Radio 2 presenter for more than four decades, has died at the age of 69.

Yes always loved Steve Wright and his afternoon show. He always had interesting guests and features. He was inexplicably replaced by Scott Mills whose show is laughably poor in comparison.

The word “genius” is often over used these days, but Steve Wright was undoubtedly a genius.
Right up there with Terry Wogan, as one of the BBC Radio post war greats.

Lisa Tarbuck did a brilliant tribute programme for Steve Wrignt this morning on Radio 2 - the last ever Love Songs programme. RIP Steve Wright, great broadcaster and all round nice guy! Loads of the old dedications were read out it was very moving.
