Your first 6 paragraphs have got nothing to do with the OP, or my post, you are just relitigating your now familiar 15 year ITTV narrative 🙄
The second last paragraph is a similarly familiar trope of yours.
You can see from the Millwall Twitter feed this week just how different and far less passive the MFC fans are, compared to Charlton fans like you. No bad thing, IMO. Joe Edwardes was clearly out of his depth at Millwall. Just like Appleton was with us. Brutal fan power from a working class fanbase forced him out 👏
I haven’t seen a single Millwall fan posting about their xG, or “let’s see where we are at the end of March, so embrace the journey” etc.
Most fans prefer to focus upon their own club in the here and now together with a cursory glance at the history, rather than perpetuate a combination of the "grass is always greener..." and nostalgic pessimism.
If posts from myself, Mundell and others are too long for you then why read? And where is there a requirement to be so gratuitously rude?!
The irony is that your recent post has been replied to by millwallfan stating that there ARE challenges for their SMT and that they aren't 100% confident in their ability to execute. As for "let's see where we are at 5pm", I have no words 😀
The whole point is that no amount of bleating on here or calling on fans to "do something" will change outcomes.
Ultimately we will either win a couple of games against relegation rivals in March and improve our chances of safety. Or we don't.
And many will look for rational analysis at the end of the season starting with the retained list, whilst others will look for somebody to blame. The reality is that the owners have very similar interests to the fans, and that there's going to be a game changing announcement around Championship finances fairly soon.
And as a result there will be far more media monies, but also far more competition for talent, especially around the pool for top six League One and bottom six Championship.
