Here's a cert I would imagine, James Bree who Nathan signed from his former Club Luton when he went to Southampton. He is contracted until 2026 but only featured on 10 occasions for Saints in 2023. If they go up he won't get a kick in the EPL. Worth a loan or a perm if the money is right. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Bree_(footballer)

Unless one can play LWB.

Pretty sure it will not be Caleb Taylor as West Brom turned down £2M from Blackburn before he went to Bolton on loan. Can anyone see us bidding that kind of money for one of our 8 elite players. Those capable of championship football.

Someone on here said Harry Cornick,I'd go with that, especially if he's not a nailed on starter for Bristol City.
No complaints from me if NJ wants to put his Luton band back together (within reason) as in they are hungry looking to be part of something again.
I trust NJ to recognise who will have the hunger to possibly drive something forward again.....NO PAYDAY PASSENGERS!

I guess Jones has had assurances of money being available in the summer window, but of course the amount will depend on what league we are in.

As well as new players I wonder how good he will be at attracting good loan players.

it will be interesting to see what Jones makes of some of the young players at the club, Zach Mitchell for one. Been told he has been peforming well at Colchester this season.

Was wondering if there was anyone on the fringes of the Welsh national team who NJ could use his local charm on.
I wouldn't mind Mark Harris to boost our striking options perhaps?
Plays for Oxford (so maybe Methven could put in a word too) and is a good age (25).
Can play as a striker, on either wing or as a number 10. Pacy and good at getting in behind the defenders.
8 goals and 3 assists from 27 appearances (all competitions) this season.
May and Harris (that pair alternating between number 10 and up top) plus a decent target man would form a really good attacking thrust at this level imho.
