More like Alonso to me Massive blow to Liverpool though. Just look at any time a successful manager leaves. Fergie and utd, Wenger as Arsenal. Arsenal have only recently got it back. Man United are still struggling. |

It's bad news for the Premier League too. If Liverpool fall apart after Klopp leaves Man City could have the title wrapped up by February for the next few years.

Did anyone else find this quite interesting? How the players and manager have a gentleman’s agreement essentially on a year by year basis? Found that quite a cool concept. I imagine it keeps everyone happy. They do well, they would likely get an improved contract, do badly and they may be put up for sale. No hard feelings. Brilliant
