D'you know I opened this thread with trepidation as I feared that he might have passed away.
Nice poem but I did do a double take when he said scoring goals, over 250 times. I guess he meant appearances. I certainly don't remember him scoring 250 goals for us. lol

I agree, nice poem that!.
I remember when he burst on to the scene i thought he was going to be the next Paul Williams, but wasn't quite to be.
He took some stick from the fans at times, i remember he was booed off the pitch during a 5-1 win over Notts County!.
Will always remember his goal against Bristol City in the FA Cup 5th round cup replay.
