With seven in already and four out not including CBt and Fraser what more could we do?. If the owners are willing to 'invest' cash we can do as much as we like. The limits are based on turnover and investments can count as turnover.

Makes sense to build as strong a squad as possible in L1 where owners can inject as much as they like under SCMP.
The Championship (which has proper FFP) is far more restrictive and much harder for squad building.
See the case of Ipswich building a 'Championship ready' squad whilst down here (with minimal new signings needed once promoted).
